The unexpected disappearance of a Chicago special education teacher has left her family in a state of fear and uncertainty, as they search for any clues to her whereabouts.
According to police reports, 53-year-old Linda Brown was last observed in the Bronzeville area of Chicago on Saturday.
Brown had planned to visit the Wicker Park district for an acupuncture session, but she never reached her destination, as detailed in a missing person notice shared by the Chicago Teachers Union online.
Antwon Brown, her husband, recounted to FOX32 Chicago that the couple had spent Friday evening watching a film before retiring for the night. By the time he awoke the following morning, Linda was no longer at home.

“I’m broke down, I don’t know what to do,” he told the station. “I’ve done everything. I’m talking to people; we got people searching for her, I’m out of options. I don’t know what to do.”Â

Antwon Brown said that it was out of character for his wife not to show up to the scheduled acupuncture appointment.
“I woke up at 8:45 a.m. and she was gone,” he said. “She took her purse and credit cards, but I’m thinking she was at acupuncture.”Â
The family called police on Sunday after multiple calls and messages to Brown went unanswered.
