The Southwest Side and several southwest suburbs were hit the hardest by flash flooding.

Last week, Chicago residents were asked to report any flooding in a survey that has now since expired.

The Chicago Office of Emergency Management and Communications said that residents who sustained flooding July 25 to 28 should call 311, use the CHI 311 app or visit 311.Chicago.gov.

As a supplemental reporting tool, OEMC is partnering with the Illinois Management Agency to compile additional information through a Residential Self-Assessment Survey.

This supplemental information will help determine if the city, along with partners at the Cook County Department of Emergency Management and Regional Security (CCEMRS) and IEMA can pursue any options for additional assistance for residents.

The deadline to submit the survey was Sunday, Aug. 3.
