The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Warning for several counties, including Cook, Grundy, Kankakee, LaSalle, Livingston, Will, and Lake in Indiana, effective until 10 a.m.
Additionally, a Flood Watch is currently in place for the entire Chicago region, also lasting until 10 a.m.

Overnight, certain areas within the warning zone reported receiving between 2 to 4 inches of rain, according to Jaisol Martinez, an ABC7 Chicago AccuWeather Meteorologist.
Residents can expect more rain throughout the morning, with lightning and heavy downpours already occurring in some locations. Intense rainfall is anticipated to persist until around 8 a.m., with lighter showers continuing until approximately 11 a.m.
Strong storms moved in overnight, causing heavy flooding in the southern suburbs.
Grundy, Kankakee, Livingston and Will counties were under a Flash Flood Warning until 2 a.m.
The rain has made driving difficult at times. Videos out of Wilmington, Dolton, and Calumet City show roads covered in water.
ABC7 crews spotted several vehicles stranded in high water. Some vehicles were partially submerged.
Underpasses were also flooded, forcing drivers to find other ways to get around. There still could be standing water in ditches, viaducts, and other low lying areas on Saturday morning.
Looking ahead, conditions are expected to be dry on Saturday afternoon with temperatures in the 50s, Martinez said.
Easter Sunday will start cold and before temperatures rise into the low 50s with a mix a sun and clouds.
