In Chicago, a security guard employed by the city’s public school system has been charged with multiple offenses related to the sexual abuse of a minor. The allegations have sent shockwaves through the community, raising concerns about student safety.

Heather Pancer, aged 48, is facing serious legal repercussions, with two charges of criminal sexual assault involving a victim between the ages of 13 and 17. These charges bring to light the critical issue of safeguarding children in educational environments.
