Operating around the clock for six days a week, a new vending machine is now accessible.
WASHINGTON — In a new venture, Chick-fil-A has introduced its inaugural vending machine as part of a limited-time trial.
This vending machine, designed as a temperature-controlled market fridge, is currently located at the Children’s Hospital of Georgia in Augusta. It functions 24/7 but takes a break on Sundays, mirroring the traditional operating hours of Chick-fil-A restaurants, as confirmed by a company representative.
According to an official statement from Chick-fil-A, the vending machine provides easy access to items like the Chick-fil-A Cool Wrap, the Southwest Veggie Wrap, and two varieties of Waffle Potato Chips.
An Atlanta-based Chick-fil-A spokesperson highlighted that the vending machine aims to offer a convenient solution for hospital staff and visitors who are often on the move.
The vending unit accepts card payments only and will not take cash, according to the spokesperson. It is strategically positioned near an existing Chick-fil-A location on the hospital campus. Local team members will be responsible for restocking the fridge with fresh menu items, Chick-fil-A said.
The fast food restaurant has not revealed how long the test will be available or whether it plans to add more vending machines elsewhere.
According to USA Today, the items available are the following;
- Chick-fil-A Cool Wrap with Avocado Lime Ranch: $8.49
- Southwest Veggie Wrap with Creamy Salsa: $7.99
- Original Waffle Potato Chips: $2.19
- Chick-fil-A Sauce Flavored Waffle Potato Chips: $2.19
