Travis Kelce might not be hanging up his Kansas City Chiefs jersey anytime soon despite contemplating retirement.

Brett Veach, the Chiefs’ general manager, told The Post on Tuesday that he expects the tight end to return for the 2025-26 NFL season.

“At the end of the season, he was fired up,” he explained. “He has one more year left on his contract, and I still believe he has the passion and drive to continue playing.”

This passage contains a single paragraph.

Veach, 47, explained there isn’t a deadline for Kelce, 35, to decide if will return, saying, “I think we left it as he’d be back.

“And we’re excited to get him back and get him going.”

Reps for Kelce weren’t immediately available to Page Six for comment.

The Chiefs’ loss against the Philadelphia Eagles at the 2025 Super Bowl on Feb. 9 has forced the professional football star to consider turning in his cleats.

“I know everybody wants to know whether or not I’m playing next year,” Kelce said on his “New Heights” podcast on Feb. 12.

“Right now, I’m just kicking everything down the road. … I’m not making any crazy decisions.”

The two-time Super Bowl champ added, “I owe it to my teammates that if I do come back then it’s going to be something that is a wholehearted decision; I’m not half-assing it.”

“I’m fully here for them. I think I can play — whether or not I’m motivated and it’s the best decision for me as a man, as a human, as a person to take on all that responsibility,” Kelce added.

If Kelce decided to retire, he “100 percent” has a future in the Hollywood movie industry, his “My Dead Friend Zoe” co-producer Paul Scanlan told People on Monday.

“He’s such a likable guy, and he’s a good actor. I mean, he’s proven that; he’s been in some good material, and he’s a good producer.”

Since the Super Bowl, Kelce has stayed out of the spotlight and has laid low with his girlfriend, Taylor Swift.

Page Six heard the couple have gone on a private romantic getaway together, as the “Lover” songstress, 35, is “comforting” her beau following the devastating loss.

We also learned Kelce spent “over $100,000 on lavish gifts including roses, candy, gold necklaces, diamond earrings, shoes and clothes” on Swift for Valentine’s Day.
