BLACKFORD COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) — A group of children in Indiana sprang into action when they spotted their neighbor’s home ablaze, ultimately rescuing her from the fiery danger.

For the past 12 years, Nina Osgood has been a steadfast caretaker for these five children while their mother, Keisha Gerber, manages her demanding work schedule. Gerber, whose job requires long and irregular hours, has relied on Osgood’s generous support and assistance.
