In Macon County, Illinois, a man convicted of sexually assaulting a child received a prison sentence totaling 57 years on Monday.

The Macon County jury found 41-year-old Juan Manuel Pacheco-Ruiz guilty of multiple offenses, including three counts of predatory criminal sexual assault of a child, two counts of aggravated sexual abuse, and one count of grooming, on November 19, 2025.
