The chain is offering a BOGO deal Sept. 15 for fans who wear a college football jersey to celebrate the season kickoff.

WASHINGTON — Football fans have a shot at a special deal at Chipotle tomorrow! The Mexican restaurant chain is launching its first ever “Wear Your College Football Jersey” promotion.

Guests who wear a college football jersey to U.S. restaurants after 5 p.m. local time will receive a buy-one-get-one free entrée deal.

“it’s the most wonderful time of the year 🏈 wear any college football jersey this MONDAY 9/15 after 5pm & get a BOGO on us,” Chipotle said in a post on its X account.

The special is limited to only five free menu items per check, while supplies last. Customers must order inside the restaurant only to get the promotion.

Customers must first purchase an entree item that’s equal or greater value to the free item. The offer excludes kids’ meals.

The news comes not long after Chipotle announced the return of the popular Carne Asada.

The seasoned steak, marinated and grilled with a signature spice blend before being finished with lime and cilantro, has been one of Chipotle’s most popular limited-time offerings since its debut in 2019. This marks the fourth time it has returned to the menu.

Carne Asada will be available for a limited time while supplies last at Chipotle locations across the U.S. and Canada.

While the “Wear Your College Football Jersey” promotion applies to all entrées, Chipotle says it’s an ideal opportunity to try Carne Asada. Chipotle is also waiving delivery fees on all Carne Asada orders placed through its app or website through Sept. 30.
