Christian Pulisic, the renowned American soccer player, has grown tired of the unfounded gossip surrounding his personal life. The captain of the U.S. Men’s National Team took to Instagram to address the swirling rumors linking him romantically to actress Sydney Sweeney.
In a forthright message shared on his Instagram Story, Pulisic, 27, urged the public to stop spreading fabricated tales about his personal affairs. “Please stop with the made up stories about my personal life,” he wrote, emphasizing the potential impact of such rumors. “Need to hold sources accountable; it can affect people’s lives.”
To underscore his point, Pulisic included a photo of himself in action during AC Milan’s commanding 3-0 triumph over Hellas Verona. The snapshot served as a reminder of his dedication to his sport, even as off-field distractions threaten to cloud his personal and professional reputation.

Pulisic called it “a silly rumor” in the comments of a social media post alleging he and the “Christy” actress are dating.
“Fake news guys let’s stop with the silly rumor,” he added.
Pulisic scored the opening goal — his 10th score of the season — to help Milan move into second place in Italy’s Serie A.
Pulisic is dating pro golfer Alexa Melton, while Sweeney has been linked to longtime music manager Scooter Braun since September.
Melton made their relationship public on social media in July 2024.
“Soft launch,” she wrote, including photos of the pair in Turks and Caicos together at the time.
Sweeney and Braun were first spotted holding hands together while out in Los Angeles.
They were seen kissing in New York City’s Central Park in November, followed by some PDA at the Los Angeles premiere of “The Housemaid” earlier this month.
