Like mother, like daughter.
At the Solving Kids Cancer Annual Hamptons Luncheon on Monday, Christie Brinkley, 71, and Sailor Brinkley-Cook, 27, appeared almost identical in matching creamsicle-colored outfits.
As per Sailor’s latest Instagram post, both were styled by the acclaimed designer Donna Karan, donning coordinated flowy long-sleeve attire, featuring a scarf and trousers from her Urban Zen collection.
In the IG video, Karan explained how the piece can be worn six different ways.
“We love it long,” commented the designer as Sailor stepped back for the camera to reveal the full look. She then tied the garment in the front, turning it into a dress.
Next, she demonstrated how to tie the piece so that the trousers are the star of the show, rather than hiding underneath fabric. “That looks amazing,” Sailor gushed about the results. “So cool.”
Her mom then popped into the frame with a huge smile on her face. “We love our outfits so much,” the longtime supermodel said to the camera. “Airy and comfortable, and you can make it do so many different things.”
Brinkley accessorized with jewel-covered sandals and layers of necklaces while Sailor kept things sleek, styling just a scarf and one beaded necklace around her plunging neckline.
Style isn’t the only thing the mother-daughter duo has in common. Apparently both women matched with the same men on a dating app recently.
Brinkley reflected on the funny moment while chatting with Kristin Davis on the actress’ “Are You A Charlotte?” podcast.
The 27-year-old once put her mom on an app for an hour without telling her, and they had some of the same matches.
“She wanted to see what kind of guys [would match] … and she put me up there … and she said, ‘Mom, you’re right not to go on it, because the same guys that said yes to me, are saying yes to you,’” the 71-year-old revealed.
