Christina Ricci issued a scathing warning directed at Megyn Kelly, accusing the host of diminishing the severity of Jeffrey Epstein’s offenses.

The 45-year-old actress from “Yellowjackets” took to Instagram on November 14 to voice her disapproval of Kelly’s recent statements about Epstein’s victims.

BuzzFeed captured screenshots where Ricci shared two slides from betches_news that spotlighted Kelly’s contentious podcast comments, including a segment where the former Fox News anchor differentiated between the ages of Epstein’s victims.

One post stated: “There is certainly a difference between a 5-year-old and a 15-year-old. However, that difference does not determine whether engaging with them constitutes pedophilia.”

The following slide included screenshots from Kelly’s conversation with conservative journalist Batya Ungar-Sargon, where Kelly is noted discussing the House Oversight Committee’s release of Epstein’s emails.

‘I know somebody very close to this case… Jeffrey Epstein, in this person’s view, was not a pedophile,’ Kelly said on her show. ‘He wasn’t into 8-year-olds, but he liked the very young teen types… There’s a difference between a 15-year-old and a 5-year-old, you know?’

Ricci’s reaction was swift and furious as she took to her Instagram Story to write: ‘This woman is a danger to children.’

Kelly did briefly refer to the topic as ‘disgusting’ and insisted she wasn’t ‘trying to make an excuse,’ but maintained she was sharing what she viewed as factual distinctions.

‘I’m just giving you facts, that he wasn’t into, like, 8-year-olds,’ she said. ‘But he liked the very young teen types that could pass for even younger than they were, but would look legal to a passerby.’

Kelly explained that she had been ‘reliably told’ this about Epstein for years, until Attorney General Pam Bondi stated that the FBI was reviewing ‘tens of thousands of videos of Epstein with children or child porn’ earlier this year.

The political podcaster said that was the first time she thought: ‘Oh, no, he was an actual pedophile.’

Kelly added that Bondi had ‘never clarified’ her comments about the videos.

‘I don’t know whether it’s true,’ she said.

‘I have to be honest, I don’t really trust Pam Bondi’s word on the Epstein matters anymore.’

Kelly said she did not know what was true about the dead sex offender, but said ‘we have yet to see anybody come forward and say, ‘I was under 10, I was under 14, when I first came within his purview’.’

Epstein’s victims were allegedly as young as 14 years old, according to the indictment used when he was charged with sex trafficking of minors in July 2019. 

Federal prosecutors claimed Epstein knew many of his victims were under 18, because some had explicitly told him so.

Epstein was found hanging in his New York prison cell on August 10, 2019, while awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges. His death was ruled a suicide.

Kelly’s comments triggered immediate backlash across X, where users accused her of attempting to minimize sexual abuse. 

‘I want Megyn Kelly to say this to a 15-year-old victim’s face. I want her to look that child in the eye and say it’s less bad,’ one wrote.

Another commented: ‘This is an absolutely disgusting take @megynkelly – you should be ashamed of yourself.’

‘A 15-year-old is still a child. Period. There are no exceptions. This is horrifying,’ a third added. 

Ricci’s sharp response comes months after she publicly shared her own unsettling experience with an adult man when she was a child.

During an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! earlier this year, the actress revealed that when she was 11, she and her friends frequently prank-called the 1-800-Mattress hotline in 1991.

‘We prank-called them so much we ended up having a regular guy we’d talk to named Jared,’ she recalled.

But the prank spiraled in a chilling direction after one of her friends gave the man her home address.

‘And he sent a picture of his penis in the mail,’ Ricci said, noting the photo was ‘printed out from CVS or something.’

No one alerted the police or their parents, she added, the girls simply stopped calling.

Kimmel even joked that the man had ‘invented the d**k pic,’ prompting Ricci to deadpan that it was indeed the first she had ever seen. 

Kimmel added: ‘He gets an “A” for effort, and he also gets a “P” for pervert.’
