Laura Loomer, a conservative commentator and a prominent ally of Donald Trump, recently made bold claims suggesting she possesses incriminating evidence against New York Attorney General Letitia James, a notable critic of the president.

Taking to X on a Saturday, Loomer asserted that she had damning information regarding James, insinuating potential misconduct without revealing specific details or presenting any substantiating proof.

‘I have very damaging receipts on Letitia James. Much more than what I posted last year, which was shared by @potus,’ Loomer conveyed through a post on the platform owned by Elon Musk.

‘Very powerful people would be able to do massive damage with these receipts in their hands. Those powerful people have my number. They should call me.’

Loomer’s comment came after Trump shared a post by another of his allies, Roger Stone, who claimed James ‘inflated the value of her assets’ in order to secure mortgages. 

‘A careful examination of New York Attorney General Letitia James financial disclosures shows she inflated the value of her assets in order to get mortgages on various commercial properties – EXACTLY what she falsely accused President Trump of doing’ Stone claimed without providing details,’ Stone wrote on X. 

He did not provide any evidence of this. Trump re-shared the post via his social media platform, Truth Social. DailyMail.com has contacted James’ office.  

James initiated the fraud case against the Trump Organization. In February 2024, the judge presiding over the case found him liable for falsely inflating his net worth to ‘unjustly enrich himself’ while slapping him with an eye-watering fine.

New York Attorney General Letitia James initiated the fraud case against the Trump Organization. In February 2024, the judge presiding over the case found him liable for falsely inflating his net worth to ‘unjustly enrich himself’ while slapping him with an eye-watering fine 

Posting via X on Saturday, Laura Loomer said she had proof of some sort of illicit behavior by James – though she did not say what it involved or provide any evidence 

Judge Arthur Engoron’s 92-page ruling barred Trump from operating any business in New York for three years, while fining him more than $355 million. 

Trump’s son’s Eric and Don Jr. were also fined more than $4 million each, and his former CFO Allen Weisselberg was hit with a $1 million payment for the scheme to massively inflate prices of his properties including in Mar-a-Lago. 

The decision followed an explosive three-month court case where Trump took the stand and his children, including Ivanka, testified. 

It took Trump’s fine totals up to $454 million for judgements in New York after a jury ordered him to pay up for defaming his rape accuser E. Jean Carroll.

The Trump Organization called the ruling a ‘gross miscarriage of justice’, while accusing James of ‘overreach’ and slamming Deutsche Bank for allegedly making ‘hundreds of millions’ doing business with them.

‘Every member of the New York business community, no matter the industry, should be gravely concerned with this gross overreach and brazen attempt by the Attorney General to exert limitless power where no private or public harm has been established,’ the firm said in a statement. 

‘If allowed to stand, this ruling will only further expedite the continuing exodus of companies from New York.’

Trump and James have continued to lock horns since – with the president stripping security clearance from James along with several other leading Democrats as part of a crackdown on his most vocal opponents. 

Meanwhile, James managed to block Elon Musk‘s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) from accessing the US Treasury’s payment system.

Former National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan, Biden’s Deputy Attorney General Lisa Monaco, and attorneys Andrew Weissmann, Mark Zaid and Norm Eisen are also among those to have their clearance revoked, the New York Post reports.

The action was described as ‘largely symbolic’ by former Trump attorney Tim Parlatore.

However, those targeted may be unable to enter federal buildings including courthouses, prisons and law enforcement facilities, hampering their ability to carry out their official duties.

It came a day after Trump revoked Joe Biden’s security clearance and his access to daily presidential briefs. 

‘There is no need for Joe Biden to continue receiving access to classified information,’ Trump wrote on Truth Social on Friday.

He added that the precedent for his behavior was set by the former president when Biden blocked the intelligence community from allowing him to access national security intel.

James has also joined lawsuits challenging the president’s efforts to end birthright citizenship and freeze federal grant programs.
