FORT PIERCE, Fla () Prosecutors and a man accused of trying to assassinate President Donald Trump will present their closing arguments Tuesday, when jurors are expected to begin deliberations.

Ryan Routh, accused of trying to kill then-candidate Donald Trump at his West Palm Beach country club last year, has represented himself in the trial.

He has pleaded not guilty to charges of attempting to assassinate a major presidential candidate, assaulting a federal officer and several firearm violations.

Closing arguments are scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. EDT, and both prosecution and defense are allotted an hour and 45 minutes for their statements.

After the arguments conclude, the case will go to the jury.

Jury members will have access to a computer with all the evidence presented in the case. If they need to reexamine the rifle or the bullet they were shown earlier in the trial, they’ll need to send a note and return to the courtroom.

Routh faces life in prison if he is found guilty.

Routh appeared frustrated during Monday’s testimony when U.S. District Judge Aileen Cannon and the prosecution repeatedly objected to his questioning of three defense witnesses. Routh did not testify in his own defense.

Cannon has warned Routh that his closing arguments could be cut short Tuesday if he doesn’t follow the rules or decides to approach it as a pseudo-testimony.

Attorneys told they expect a verdict Tuesday.
