Colorado man donates 70th gallon of blood: 'It's a good thing'

(COLORADO SPRINGS) A remarkable milestone was reached at the Vitalant donation center on Austin Bluffs Parkway in Colorado Springs, where a local man made his 560th blood donation.

Anthony Lopez, a dedicated donor for nearly six decades, first gave blood in Illinois back in 1966. On October 14, 2025, Lopez marked another significant achievement by donating his 70th gallon of blood, demonstrating his unwavering commitment over the years.
