JSO said 24-year-old Natania Ribot was driving the car that the suspected gunman got away in.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A 24-year-old woman faces felony charges after investigators with the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said she was arrested in connection to the deadly shooting at the parking lot of Copeland’s Restaurant on Jacksonville’s Southside in June.

Police said 24-year-old Natania Ribot was arrested and charged with accessory after the fact in the shooting that killed 38-year-old Kenneth Mobley on June 11.

Josiah Martinez, 24, was arrested late July on a warrant with a second-degree murder charge. Police say he fired the shots that hit and killed Mobley, and got away in a car driven by Ribot.

Kenneth Mobley, who would have turned 39 on June 23, just a little over a week after the shooting on June 11, was described by loved ones as a go-getter who lit up the room.

Officers found Mobley suffering from a gunshot wound to his chest when they arrived on scene. He was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Several people were taken into custody on the day of Mobley’s murder. Three people were detained as suspects, JSO said, and two witnesses were speaking with police about what they saw.

According to JSO, Mobley was at the restaurant to “meet someone,” but the sheriff’s office has not said what the purpose of the meeting was.
