Country singer Ella Langley delivered a blunt response to a fan asking her on a date, and the exchange has quickly gone viral online.
In a TikTok video filmed after Langley’s Sept. 24 concert in Knoxville, Tennessee, a fan called out from behind a fence, asking, “Ella, how many likes to take you on a date?”
Langley, 27, appeared visibly unimpressed. The “Choosin’ Texas” singer gave the content creator, who uses the name Tiki, a disappointed look before replying, “Not enough in the world.”
She shook her head, turned away from the camera and walked off as members of her band watched the exchange.
After letting out an audible sigh, Tiki turned the camera toward himself and joked, “You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take.”
He then appeared to strike a defensive pose, crossing his arms over his chest as he turned away from the country star.
The clip prompted a wide range of reactions in the comments. One viewer joked, “she didn’t say the universe though.”
Another commenter defended Langley, writing, “this made me like her even more. It’s not her job to be nice to random men. She set her boundary, respect it.”
Some viewers questioned why the surprise date proposal appeared to make Langley “so mad,” while another speculated that late country icon Dolly Parton “would’ve said something funny.”
One commenter offered a different perspective, noting that “being screamed at 24/7 would get irritating.”

In a follow-up video, Tiki displayed a comment reportedly written by Langley. “This was definitely meant as dark humor, and it obviously didn’t land due to my face,” the comment read.
“I will say, it takes more than likes on a tik tok,” Langley reportedly added. “I’m still human.” The comment appears to have since been deleted.
The viral moment comes amid reports that the “Be Her” singer is romantically involved with fellow country artist Tucker Wetmore.
People confirmed the relationship reports Wednesday, shortly after The Sun claimed the pair had quietly left the Nashville Songwriter Awards together.
TMZ also published photos appearing to show Langley and Wetmore leaving Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium together that night.
“Tucker was hiding out backstage waiting for Ella to finish at the award presentation,” a source told The Sun. “They snuck out of the venue together.”
Sources told TMZ that the alleged romance began “well before” the Nashville outing and that the two singers were introduced through mutual friends in the music business.
Meanwhile, Langley has been pushing herself outside her comfort zone. On Tuesday, she shared a TikTok video showing herself nervously holding a snake around her neck.
“This is facing my fears a little bit,” Langley said as she was handed an Argentine boa. The video also showed her sitting beside a baby kangaroo on a couch and posing with a yellow-and-green parrot perched on her shoulder.
“Welcome to today: exotic animal edition 🐍,” she captioned the post.
