In Chicago, authorities have issued an arrest warrant for Adam Beckerink, who is accused of killing his 36-year-old wife, Caitlin Tracey. Currently, Beckerink is detained with a bond set at $2 million in connection with this warrant. Additionally, he is serving a sentence for a domestic violence charge against Tracey in Berrien County, Michigan.

Through a public records request, the ABC7 I-Team accessed a police report detailing an incident in Chicago, revealing disturbing behavior by Beckerink following his wife’s death. This conduct has led to a fresh charge of contempt of court against him.

The June police report from Chicago highlights troubling incidents involving terms such as “exposing,” “screaming,” “defecated,” and “without permission.”

During Beckerink’s sentencing for the domestic violence case in Michigan, he faced an additional contempt of court charge due to an incident at a Concentra Urgent Care clinic located in the West Town area.

“He consumed alcohol, appeared intoxicated, and displayed intimidating and threatening behavior towards the staff at Concentra Urgent Care, where he was supposed to undergo court-mandated drug testing,” stated Berrien County Judge Gary Bruce last Monday.

CPD officers were called to the clinic on West Chicago Avenue after Beckerink was there for court ordered drug testing according to the judge, and showed clear signs of intoxication.

Beckerink without permission touched the hand of a worker and asked her on a date, a short time later he went into the bathroom, pulled down his pants exposing himself to the entire staff, then defecated all over the floor and himself before returning to his car, according to the Chicago Police Report obtained by the I-Team.

“That’s in violation of those conditions of no assaultive, abusive, intimidating, threatening, violent, aggressive stalking behavior and no consumption or possession of alcohol,” said Judge Bruce.

Beckerink is currently serving a three-month sentence for domestic violence charges and is now facing a $2 million dollar bond for an out-of-state arrest warrant executed by Chicago police

CPD says Beckerink caused his wife Caitlin Tracey’s death last October by throwing her over the railing of the 24th floor of the east stairwell where he lives, according to a felony complaint filed in Cook County court and reviewed by the I-Team.

Caitlin Tracey’s mother, Dr. Monica Tracey, condemned her son-in-law in Berrien County court at Beckerink’s sentencing hearing.

“There is no justice that can heal our pain. No means to bring her back or to take away the physical or mental brutality this monster caused her, for which he cowardly pled no contest,” said Dr. Tracey.

The I-Team reached out to Beckerink’s attorney, but has not heard back. He has not waived extradition, which is slowing his move to face official murder charges in Illinois.
