() — Police are still searching for a suspect in the killings of four University of Idaho students more than a week after they were stabbed to death.

What little information police have released has led to speculation about both the suspect and motive. Police sought to dispel those rumors during a news conference Wednesday.

Dr. Debbie Goodman, a criminologist and professor at St. Thomas University, said based on the facts that police have released, it appears this was a planned, malicious and predatory crime.
