A large crowd gathered outside an Idaho courthouse overnight, eager to secure front row seats for Bryan Kohberger’s sentencing. They were hopeful that the convicted murderer might disclose his reasons for the four brutal killings.

At least 50 individuals were already queued up around Ada County Court in Boise even before dawn on Wednesday, waiting hours before the courthouse’s scheduled opening for the highly anticipated hearing.

At one point, an argument apparently broke out when some were accused of trying to cut the growing line, the Daily Mail reported.

Dedicated followers of the case had attempted to arrive as early as Tuesday evening to secure their place in line. However, local police swiftly dispersed them, according to several journalists on site.

The wild scene unfolded as Kohberger, who took a last-minute plea deal, was expected to be sentenced to life in prison over the 2022 murders of Madison Mogen, Xana Kernodle, Kaylee Goncalves and Ethan Chapin near the University of Idaho campus.
