LOS ANGELES — As it celebrates its 20th anniversary, the 34th season of “Dancing with the Stars” has delivered an unforgettable experience.

This season’s dynamic cast captivated audiences, leading to a noticeable boost in viewership. The grand finale was a dazzling spectacle, featuring the entire ensemble returning to the dance floor for brief showcases, while also rallying behind the five finalists competing for the top spot.

Among the contenders, Alix Earle, Dylan Efron, Elaine Hendrix, Jordan Chiles, and Robert Irwin demonstrated their prowess by performing three separate routines each. This unprecedented move was fitting for such a competitive season, giving fans ample opportunity to enjoy the couples’ artistry.

Across the three-hour broadcast, numerous perfect scores were awarded, intensifying the anticipation as viewers cast their votes to determine the recipient of the prestigious Len Goodman Mirrorball trophy.

Ultimately, Australian conservationist Robert Irwin, alongside his partner Witney Carson, emerged victorious. The win was especially poignant for Robert, as it mirrored his sister Bindi Irwin’s triumph a decade ago with her partner Derek Hough.

When asked by co-host Julianne Hough about what winning “DWTS” meant to him, Irwin said, “My sister said it best: Thank you for changing my life.”

Carson added, “I’m so grateful for Robert, and I feel like I won already with him as my friend.”

The winners of this season were determined by a combination of live viewer votes from the night as well as the scores from judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Derek Hough and Bruno Tonioli.
