Dannel Larkins was first arrested in Breon Allen’s death. He’s been linked to a Jacksonville gang war between local rapper; he’s now charged with 2 more murders.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — One of the six arrested for the murder of 7-year-old Breon Allen has now been tied to a third murder.

In addition to Breon’s death, Dannel Larkins was also charged with the April 2024 death of Valondia Norris five months ago. Thursday, he was charged with the shooting death of 31-year-old Kenneth Glover Jr.

Four of the men arrested, including Larkins, were linked to Jacksonville gang 6Block — which famously was affiliated with local rapper Foolio, who was shot to death in June 2024. Before his death, Foolio was interlocked in an ongoing feud with Jacksonville rapper Yungeen Ace, whom court documents say is the namesake of rival gang ATK (‘Aces Top Killers’). Glover Jr. also had links to ATK.

Glover Jr. was found with gunshot wounds in a parking lot outside of the Man-Cave Barbershop on A. Philip Randolph Boulevard last year.

Glover Jr. posted rap music online under the name Tiger Sparks. He had a song featuring Reginald Williams (who raps under ‘Whoppa Wit Da Choppa’), a documented affiliate of ATK and collaborator with Yungeen Ace.

Heavily-redacted warrants drew the link between the suspects and the ongoing, bloody gang war between 6Block and ATK.

The shooting also injured 21-year-old Lafayette Mango; the warrant said Mango and another rapper released a song called “6 Ways to Die,” where they insulted various dead members or associates of 6 Block. The Sheriff’s Office said the song references Foolio, Lawrence Davis and Adrian McKinzie. Davis and McKinzie were killed in 2018 and 2023, respectively. The song also references rapper Rico Osama, real name Julian House, who was killed in 2023.

“Your affiant believes that this shooting incident was motivated with the purpose to benefit, promote, and/or further the interests of the criminal gang,” the warrant said.
