Kristen Bell expressed gratitude towards her husband, Dax Shepard, for his unwavering support during her hosting duties at the 2026 SAG Actor Awards held in Los Angeles, California, on Sunday night.

On Monday, Bell shared a reel on Instagram with the caption, “In case you were wondering what I was doing when I wasn’t on stage last night. Not for one moment do I think I could do this job on my own.”

The video revealed Bell, Shepard, and their daughters, Lincoln, 12, and Delta, 11, enjoying the show from backstage when Bell wasn’t on stage.

“Never underestimate your tribe. The goals you’ve set, the dreams you’re chasing — none of it happens in isolation. The people in your corner aren’t a bonus. They’re the foundation,” Bell remarked.

In her heartfelt message, she continued, “Thank you @daxshepard for being so continuously supportive and present. You have always been there to help calm my nervous system when it’s crunch time.”

Bell said her family unit “gives [her] the fuel to be creative and perform and entertain, which I so love to do.”

“I am thankful for the space I can take up, and will always make the same room for all three of you when you need it. ❤️,” she concluded.

Shepard, 51, took to the comments, lauding his wife for her huge accomplishment.

“I don’t deserve this, but I kinda do in thIS case because yesterday was my colonoscopy prep day (if you know you know), so the visit was one of the bravest/most arrogant decisions of my life. Also you CRUSHED ❤️❤️❤️❤️.”

At the SAG Actor Awards, Bell walked the star-studded red carpet in a custom purple sheer gown by Georges Hobeika with beaded details and a pleated train.

“For me, hosting is not roasting,” she told Netflix on the red carpet ahead of her monologue. “It’s not for me. If I’m going to roast anyone, it’s going to be me.”

The “Good Place” actress, 45, accessorized with a diamond necklace and coordinating drop earrings.

Bell, who previously hosted the elegant evening last year and in 2018, announced that she would be returning to the stage for this year’s awards in January.

“I’ve enjoyed hosting the show every time, so it was an easy decision to come back for a third,” Bell said in a statement at the time.

The “Frozen” star also hinted that she would be using her pipes during the hosting gig.

“What I’m most excited for is the fact that I’ll be doing what every actor does best … sing :),” she shared.

Last year, Bell managed to make some of Hollywood’s biggest stars squirm in their seats by playing clips of their younger selves, including Kieran Culkin in “Home Alone,” Zoe Saldaña in “Crossroads,” and Selena Gomez in “Barney & Friends.”

The “Veronica Mars” alum also put her jokes aside for a moment to honor a group of Los Angeles firefighters attending the celebration

While Bell was nominated for a SAG trophy last year for her role in Netflix’s “Nobody Wants This,” she isn’t up for anything this year and is just an emcee for the night.
