Couple accused of stealing nearly $58K in Amazon packages they were to deliver

ANKENY, Iowa — A couple from Altoona has been apprehended on allegations of stealing Amazon packages that they were supposed to deliver to customers.

Brandon Helderman, 26, and Madison Helderman, 25, each face a charge of first-degree theft. According to Sgt. Trevor McGraw from the Ankeny Police Department, the couple surrendered themselves at the Polk County Jail on Wednesday morning.
