DENVER (KDVR) — Police have arrested a staff member at a Lakewood middle school on suspicion of child sexual assault.
On Feb. 15, Lakewood Police Department officers were made aware of several complaints by male students at Creighton Middle School that a staff member was allegedly touching them inappropriately during school hours.
According to police, detectives identified and spoke to each victim.
On Feb. 16, Lakewood police arrested 27-year-old Luis Fernando Robles–Luevanos on suspicion of sexual assault on a child by one in a position of trust.
According to police, Robles–Luevanos was a staff member at Creighton Middle School at the time of his arrest. He worked as a coach, liaison, classroom instructor and worked closely with Spanish-speaking families, according to police.
Detectives believe there may be additional victims in this case.
