WASHINGTON — For fans of Chipotle, the holiday season just got tastier. The popular burrito chain is rolling out its “Unwrap Extra” promotion, featuring in-restaurant buy-one-get-one entrée deals available today and on every remaining Saturday of this month.

After 4 p.m. local time on these Saturdays, customers can enjoy BOGO entrée specials, encouraging them to gather with friends and family for a festive meal during the holiday rush.

“Unwrap Extra is about giving back to our fans and creating moments to come together around the food they crave with the people they love,” remarked Chris Brandt, Chipotle’s President and Chief Brand Officer. “With three consecutive Saturday deals and two surprise drops for every Rewards member, this is our biggest holiday promotion yet.”

The upcoming Unwrap Extra offers include a Burrito BOGO today, when guests who buy a burrito in-restaurant can get a second entrée free. On Saturday, Dec. 20, Chipotle will host “Extra Sweater Day,” inviting customers to wear a festive or over-the-top sweater in-restaurant and buy any entrée to receive a free one.

All BOGO offers are valid after 4 p.m. local time and are available in-restaurant only at participating Chipotle locations in the U.S. and Canada. The free item will be the lower-priced entrée.

Chipotle Rewards members will also receive surprise drops this month, including freebies like guac, double protein, chips or a drink, added directly to their Rewards wallets. Customers can sign up at chipotle.com/rewards.
