An astrologer reveals the key dates for finding love in 2025

With the arrival of the new year comes the opportunity to turn over a new leaf, mend connections, and for some, embark on a quest for either new romantic relationships or passionate encounters to warm up the cold winter month of January.

And while you’re out there looking for love, take heed of the stars above, as a recent Tinder report revealed that nearly 40% of singles say that “astrology love predictions” will likely shape their dating choices in 2025.

Aiding and abetting our quest for love and lust is the new year is Neda, an astrologer at the dating app Flirtini, who has come correct with a cosmic calendar for the year ahead.

Read on, right on, get it on, folks.

January 11: Prioritize Vulnerability and Compassion

On January 11th, the lunar nodes will move from the Aries/Libra axis to Pisces/Virgo.

The lunar nodes are linked to the karmic, evolutionary path of the human soul — where we’ve been and are meant to go. While the South Node indicates past life patterns, the North Node provides the framework for our soul’s work in this time-space reality.

Regarding relationships, and, according to Neda, the North Node’s ingress into Pisces “encourages spiritual connections and empathy; therefore, prioritizing vulnerability and compassion will deepen bonds and create safe spaces for honest communication.”

Today and throughout this transit, be brave enough to lay your truth bare and lean into openness to attract and actualize through meaningful connections.

March 1 to April 12: Reflect on Relationship Values

In the spring, Venus, our planet of love, attraction, wealth, and worth, will be retrograde from March 1 to April 12, first in Aries and then in Pisces.

Neda imparts, “This retrograde prompts re-evaluation of love and relationship values. Let go of superficial attachments and focus on what nurtures your soul to create lasting and fulfilling partnerships.”

Exes love to exhume themselves during a retrograde, and this is especially true during a Venus retrograde. Often this reappearance has more to do with challenging us to create new patterns versus falling into familiar cycles of romantic rot.

This may be a time to reconsider someone you cast aside or to resolve lingering issues that have hindered your forward momentum.

If it doesn’t help you grow, folks, it’s time to let it go.

May 24: Balance Independence and Commitment

On May 24th, Saturn, our planet of restriction and responsibility, moves from the codependent opiate bathtub of Pisces into the autonomous, id-worshipping, cardinal fires of Aries.

As Neda explains, “Saturn’s move into Aries highlights the importance of balancing independence with commitment. Maintain your individuality while contributing to partnership stability to create harmony in relationships.”

June 9, 2025 – June 30, 2026: Nurture Emotional Bonds

Beginning on June 9, Jupiter, our planet of expansion, fortune, and abundance, will move from the airy, intellectual climes of Gemini into the tangled, tender, emotional root cellar of Cancer, where it will remain until 2026.

According to Neda, this transit is about “enhancing emotional bonding and nurturing family-focused relationships. And so, for those who want to improve their love lives in 2025, the best advice is to focus on creating harmonious environments in romantic and familial relationships.”

July 7: Stay Open to Change and Unconventional Dynamics

On July 7th, Uranus, the side-spinning noble punk planet of upheaval, transitions out of solid Taurus and into free-wheeling Gemini.

Neda expounds, “This transit injects excitement and unpredictability, pushing individuals to explore unorthodox dynamics and embrace surprising romantic opportunities. From exploring unconventional relationship dynamics to meeting partners in unexpected ways, adaptability will be key.”

Be it polyamory or sleep divorce, an older partner, tentacle porn, or a surprising tryst, stay open to the unexpected and fluid in your concept of connection.

September 7: Foster Transformation and Embrace Vulnerability

Get ready for a total eclipse in the sign of ultimate feeling and total enmeshment, folks.

Neda imparts, “A Full Moon total lunar eclipse in Pisces on September 7 encourages the release of old patterns and the embrace of vulnerability, fostering deeper, transformative connections.”

Ready yourself for Mercury retrograde

In 2025, Mercury will retrograde three times: from March 14 to April 6, from July 17 to August 10, and from November 9 to 29.

When our planet of communication slows down, communication challenges arise. To deepen rather than destroy relationships, practice patience, ask clarifying questions, and offer grace and easy forgiveness to yourself and others.
