FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) — In celebration of America’s 250th anniversary, ABC is unveiling a unique program dubbed “Disney Celebrates America,” offering 24 hours of engaging content.
This multi-platform event, anchored by ABC News’ “World News Tonight” host David Muir, will broadcast from all 50 states. The coverage kicks off at 7 p.m. PT on July 3, spanning into July 4.
Viewers will be guided through America’s 7 Wonders and various cities, as ABC News anchors and correspondents showcase the country’s remarkable landscapes, rich culture, and defining historical moments, complemented by festivities, performances, and interviews with prominent figures.
ABC30 is partaking in this momentous event by guiding viewers nationally through Yosemite National Park, with special segments hosted by Action News Anchor Vanessa Vasconcelos.
Featuring stunning scenery, majestic granite cliffs, and cascading waterfalls, Yosemite National Park has long been a muse for artists. Renowned nature photographer Marc Bouldoukian describes this breathtaking environment as a living classroom.
Yosemite National Park visitors can experience a taste of history at The Ahwahnee, where chefs have reimagined a menu discovered in 1929 and now serve it as a prix fixe meal.
