Cynthia Erivo, Alan Cumming, Megan Hilty, and Sutton Foster are among the star-studded lineup lending their voices for the second season of Disney Jr.’s animated series “RoboGobo.”
Get ready to rev up the engines, as the much-loved children’s show “RoboGobo” announces its return with Season 2. Featuring “rescue pets who rescue pets,” this Disney Jr. favorite is set to premiere soon with exciting new episodes.
This charming series, crafted for preschoolers, is set on the futuristic MetroPet Island. It follows the adventures of five adopted pets who are equipped with super-powered Robo-Suits by a young inventor named Dax. The new season promises to carry forward the thrilling escapades of Dax and Team RoboGobo, as their suits transform into Robo-Vehicles whenever needed to tackle challenges. These innovative vehicles will be crucial in their mission to protect MetroPet Island from villains like Gimme Pig, The Slink, and a new adversary, Captain Shrimpertonn, brought to life by Broadway star Megan Hilty.
Joining the voice cast are talented stars including Cynthia Erivo, Alan Cumming, Valerie Bertinelli, Ana Gasteyer, Susan Kelechi Watson, Dulé Hill, Alison Pill, and James Monroe Iglehart. Tony Award winner Sutton Foster and comedian Nate Torrence introduce new characters Molly and Milo, sibling sanitation workers who bond with raccoon duo Risky and Royale, the show’s biggest fans. The series regulars include Ja’Siah Young as Dax, Brayden Morgan as Booster, Azuri Hardy Jones as Allie, Gracen Newton as Hopper, Leili Ahmadyar as Shelly, and Dee Bradley Baker as Wingo.
For those who need to catch up, “RoboGobo” Season 1 is currently streaming on Disney+. Season 2 kicks off with a special 10-episode marathon on February 16 at 7 a.m. EST on Disney Jr., with all episodes becoming available on Disney+ the day after.
