LOS ANGELES — Disney is bringing back its beloved characters in a fresh series called “Locker Diaries.”
This new show is a delightful blend of familiar Disney faces and exciting new episodes.
“Locker Diaries,” a short-form anthology series, features stars from well-loved Disney Channel hits such as “ZOMBIES,” “Descendants,” and “Phineas and Ferb.” These actors will reprise their iconic roles in weekly installments.
Designed for the vertical viewing experience favored on digital platforms, “Locker Diaries” invites fans to explore the corridors and personal lives of their favorite characters, all through the whimsical lens of locker doors.
The series promises a range of mini-adventures with each locker door opening, offering a mix of drama, humor, spookiness, and unexpected twists, according to the show’s synopsis.
“Locker Diaries: ZOMBIES” kicks off with two episodes, now available on Disney+ and Disney Channel’s YouTube, Instagram and TikTok. There will be 11 short-form, live-action episodes in total, rolling out every Saturday.
Malachi Barton (Victor), Freya Skye (Nova), Swayam Bhatia (Vera), Julian Lerner (Ray) and Mekonnen Knife (Vargas) return to reprise their roles from “ZOMBIES 4: Dawn of the Vampires.” The series will offer “a glimpse into the drama unfolding in the school halls of Sunnyside and Shadyside.”
Additional “Locker Diaries” episodes featuring “Descendants” and “Phineas and Ferb” characters will premiere later this year.
In the meantime, fans can stream the all-new episodes of “Cartoonified! with Phineas and Ferb,” available now on Disney+ and YouTube, and the “Descendants / ZOMBIES Worlds Collide Tour: Concert Special” on Friday, Feb. 20, on Disney+. All entries in the “Phineas and Ferb,” “Descendants” and “ZOMBIES” franchises are streaming on Disney+.
