With the festive season in full swing, a variety of holiday specials are available for families to enjoy, including “Prep & Landing: Snowball Protocol.” This fun feature follows a specialized team of elves tasked with getting countless homes ready for a visit from the jolly man himself.

The character of Wayne is brought to life by Dave Foley.

“He’s a character who tries hard to embrace bitterness but can’t quite manage it. Wayne feels entitled to his cynicism, yet he repeatedly finds himself acknowledging how good life truly is. I like that about him,” Foley shared with On The Red Carpet, adding that Wayne’s attempts at cynicism often end in failure.

Foley has been voicing Wayne since the debut of the “Prep & Landing” series in 2009. Joining him again are Sarah Chalke as Magee, who manages the Command Center, and Derek Richardson, who plays Lanny, Wayne’s trusty partner and friend.

New cast members include Dulcé Sloan as Janice, a clerk at the North Pole Post Office, Danny Pudi as Chef Geoff, the master chef at the Fruitcake Factory and Manny Jacinto, who plays Renato, a holistic healer who helps get the elves ready for their missions.

“Getting to do anything animation or voiceover stuff, especially when Disney is involved is super fun,” Jacinto told On The Red Carpet.

“This one is different from previous ones in that this episode is kind of an anthology episode,” Foley explained. “It takes the characters into different worlds, different seasons and they even get to go on vacation.”

“Prep & Landing: The Snowball Protocol” airs Thanksgiving evening on Disney Channel and the next day on Disney+. It’ll air Sunday on ABC and it’ll be a part of Freeform’s 25 days of Christmas lineup!
