YPSILANTI, Michigan — Domino’s is the latest brand to redesign their logo to appeal to new customers. 

“The brand took inspiration from its past and present, and transformed it into modernized elements that will better reach current and future pizza lovers,” Domino’s said in a press release.

They announced their new branding Wednesday along with their first ever jingle from five-time Grammy nominated country star Shaboozey. 

The refresh is the brand’s first in 13 years and will roll out over the next few months in the United States and “multiple international markets.” 

They said the change blends its “heritage with a more playful, modern look and sound.”

The new branding includes new TV and digital advertisements, a facelift for the website and app, boxes, employee uniforms and in-store graphics, according to Domino’s. 

They also updated their trademark to include “Dommmino’s” because their ad reads the “hot new vibe designed to make you say ‘mmm.'”

Along with the new colorful boxes, signature Handmade Pan and Parmesan Stuffed Crust boxes will also feature black and metallic gold take on its logo to “showcase a more premium, indulgent feel.”

Kate Trumbull, Domino’s executive vice president, says the rebrand will allow the company to keep on its current trajectory. 

“Most companies rebrand themselves when they’re struggling, but after years of category-defying growth, this refresh is about continuing to push to be the best version of ourselves,” said Trumbull. “It’s vibrant, it’s bold, and it’s fun. It’s pizza!”

The brand was founded in Ypsilanti, Michigan in 1960 and has grown to the largest pizza company in the world, according to Domino’s. They have more than 21,000 stores across 90 markets worldwide.
