During a rally in Hebron, Kentucky, on Wednesday, President Trump invited boxer and social media influencer Jake Paul onto the stage, forecasting a political future for the YouTube star.
“I’m going to make a prediction that you will be, in the not too distant future, running for political office,” Trump announced, expressing his confidence in Paul’s potential political aspirations.
“And you have my complete and total endorsement,” the president added, showing his support.
Originally from Ohio, 29-year-old Paul expressed his admiration for Trump, crediting him for teaching the importance of “courage” and the resolve to “never back down from a fight.”
He told the crowd that the president had taught him the value of “courage” and to “never back down from a fight.”
“We need more factories like this thriving all over the country,” Paul said. “And I know [Trump’s] going to be the one to bring that here to us.”
He added, “I know God is with us. I know he wants us on the right side of history, and everyone here has to do their part. And God’s got us. Trump’s got us. God bless.”
