Actor Gene Hackman’s New Mexico home was burglarized, with thieves making off with three types of medication, two cellphones, and a planner following the discovery of Gene Hackman, his wife, and a dog found dead inside the residence on Wednesday.

Sheriff’s deputies seized the green phones along with Tylenol, a thyroid medication and Diltiazem, which is used to treat high blood pressure, according to the search warrant’s inventory list released on Friday.

Medical records from MyQuest, a patient portal from Quest Diagnostics, and a 2025 planner were also taken.

Hackman, 95, and his wife, classical pianist Betsy Arakawa, 65, and one of their German Shepherds were found by maintenance workers in the couple’s Santa Fe home.

An open prescription pill bottle and pills were scattered around the room where Awakawa was found, according to authorities.

Hackman was discovered in what police believe was the mudroom. Officers said that it appeared he had “suddenly fallen.”
