Elon Musk claims Biden is turning a blind eye to soaring immigration

Elon Musk has slammed Joe Biden’s approach to the southern border, suggesting the President is taking a lax approach to immigration in order to keep the Democrats permanently in power.

The controversial tech tycoon made the comments on his X platform on Friday night.

‘Biden’s strategy is very simple,’ Musk wrote, while sharing an article from 2021 outlining Biden’s reported plans to offer legal status to around 11 million people while in office.

‘1. Get as many illegals in the country as possible. 2. Legalize them to create a permanent majority – a one-party state.’

‘That is why they are encouraging so much illegal immigration. Simple, yet effective.’

‘This explains why there are so few deportations, as every deportation is a lost vote’ Musk later added to the post.

‘As happened this week, you can literally assault police officers in broad daylight in New York, be released with no bail, give everyone the finger and *still* not be deported!! Outrageous’ the billionaire wrote.

The group assault of NYPD officers by migrants earlier this week caused outrage across the country.

A group of migrants attacked two NYPD officers in Times Square last Saturday night, when officers attempted to disperse a disorderly group in front of 220 West 42 Street.

A fight broke out between a suspect in a yellow sweatshirt and the police officers.

According to the NYPD, the migrants then started to attack the officers, kicking them in the head and body while the two officers try to pin down one of the other men, tearing off his sweatshirt.

Seven arrests were made and four of the suspects were released from court without bail, leading to widespread outrage.

The situation was compounded when reports emerged that the four released skipped town on a bus to California using a church-affiliated migrant charity.

Over Biden’s first three years in office, Border Patrol recorded a total of 5,940,511 encounters, a 277 percent increase from the same period during Trump’s term, from 2017 to 2019, according to US Customs and Border Patrol.

Republicans blame Biden for the surge, after he relaxed a number of Trump-era border restrictions — policies which the Democrat has called inhumane and ineffective.

Immigration and the border remain top concerns for conservative voters ahead of the November 5 election, in which Biden will seek a second term and Trump is the leading candidate for his party’s nomination.

The Tesla founder has previously argued that gaining asylum status after illegally crossing the southern border is as easy as a Google search.

Musk visited Eagle Pass, Texas in September and livestreamed his experience of viewing the southern border.

While Biden’s handling of the border has long drawn harsh criticism from Republicans, increasingly his fellow Democrats are calling for stronger action including Arizona’s governor and the mayors of New York and Chicago.
