While he may no longer hold the mayor’s office, he’s not missing out on the high-profile party perks.
Former political figure Eric Adams found himself surrounded by a dozen women, including his blonde protégé Alisa Roever, during a glamorous Sports Illustrated affair at Cipriani Wall Street on Saturday night. Sources suggest he didn’t leave empty-handed, pocketing a few phone numbers as the evening unfolded.
According to a video shared with Page Six, Adams seemed to enjoy himself on the dance floor, drawing the attention of several women eager for his company.
“He probably wasn’t aware that people could see his moves. His spot was right near the stage,” mentioned an onlooker. The party, headlined by 50 Cent and Diplo, marked the end of the World Cup series.
The same source noted they had seen him exchanging contacts with two brunettes, not a rare sight for the erstwhile “party mayor.” In fact, Page Six has previously observed Adams swapping digits with fashion models at various events. However, his representative assures that it’s all in good, friendly spirits.
“Eric Adams didn’t earn the nickname ‘the Nightlife Mayor’ by sitting home on Saturday nights,” they quipped.
They further said, “Eric arrived on his own, greeted people, met new faces, and like he’s done for more than 40 years, exchanged phone numbers. That’s called networking.”
Adams is in a long-term relationship with Department of Education staffer Tracey Collins.
We hear jet-setting Adams, who was bizarrely granted Albanian citizenship earlier this year, has some nonparty tricks up his sleeve that he will soon announce. In the meantime, his rep, for some reason, wanted to assure us, “there was absolutely nothing improper” about his evening at Cipriani.
“Eric Adams has always enjoyed meeting people from all walks of life, and Saturday night was no different,” he said.
