School is almost in session, and until the bell rings, the “Abbott Elementary” cast is celebrating Emmys season before season five.

The “Abbott Elementary” alumni were at the Warner Bros. Television 77th Primetime celebration at Spago Beverly Hills. They spoke about their love for the Emmys and even dropped some spoilers for next season.

“Being on one of the best shows is like a blessing I can’t even explain,” said William Stanford Davis, who plays Mr. Johnson. “I’m enjoying every minute. I have a great cast that I work with. I love each and every one of them. Great crew, great writers. I’m in heaven!”

Lisa Ann Walter dished about how much she enjoys these types of parties and how important it is to celebrate with her fellow Warner Bros. peers.

“Maybe all of award season is the night before parties,” said Walter. “I love the BAFTA Tea. I love partying it up with my fellow Warner Brother peeps, and I love the night-before parties. It’s like calm; I wear boots so I can stay on my feet for the many hours so I can stay for all these parties. I’m so much more comfortable.”

Chris Perfetti hints to fans that season five is by far the “best season yet.”

“I’m excited to get people pumped about season five, which is undoubtedly one of our best seasons yet,” said Perfetti.

Sheryl Lee Ralph explains to Abbott fans that she has absolutely no knowledge of what’s going to happen to her character’s development coming up. Fans online have speculated that her character is going to have a major role.

“This is what I have to tell everybody; I’m so glad you guys know everything because I know nothing,” said Ralph. “Quinta has kept a big secret from me, and it’s only when I hit the red carpets, or the blue carpets, that I hear what’s going to happen to my character this season.”

One secret that Ralph can drop is that one of the holiday episodes is “outstanding.”

“Our Halloween episode is outstanding!” Ralph excitedly says. “I can’t tell you nothing more about it, but oh, it’s wonderful.”

“Abbott Elementary” returns to ABC on Wednesday, Oct. 1, and is streaming now on Hulu.

The Walt Disney Company is the parent company of ABC, Hulu and this ABC station.
