LOS ANGELES — What does it take to endure the exhilarating chaos of a Sam Raimi film set, especially when it involves copious amounts of blood, water, and daring stunts?
A newly released featurette for “Send Help,” the anticipated survival horror thriller directed by Sam Raimi, offers fans an exclusive peek behind the curtain, featuring candid interactions with stars Rachel McAdams and Dylan O’Brien.
“Having Sam Raimi fling blood at you feels like a rite of passage,” McAdams humorously shared in the featurette, recounting her memorable experiences during filming.
Raimi makes an appearance in the video, skillfully orchestrating the film’s intense scenes of carnage, commenting, “It’s a task that seems destined for me, as no one handles it quite like I do.”
The featurette provides a glimpse into the film’s production, highlighting moments such as McAdams submerged in a water-filled airplane and, in true Raimi style, an overwhelming display of gore.
“The experience with him is interesting, fun and wild.” O’Brien said. “He’s so collaborative. You can throw the whackiest ideas at him.” McAdams added.
So, what does it take to survive Raimi’s set? Fans will have to experience it for themselves when “Send Help” hits theaters.
