In this week’s episode of Southern Hospitality, the crew heads to Las Vegas, also known as Sin City. Fans of the show are eagerly anticipating the upcoming impromptu wedding of Maddi Reese and Joe Bradley, which was teased in the exciting trailer for the season. The tension is building as they prepare to take the plunge in one of the city’s famous chapels.
Despite some existing rifts within the group (such as Emmy’s absence from work causing a stir and the uncertain truce between Bradley and TJ Dinch), the beloved characters from Charleston put their conflicts aside to show their support for Reese. They venture to Vegas to cheer her on during her DJ performance at the Ayu Dayclub, a significant event as it will showcase Reese’s debut single featuring vocals from her friend Grace Lilly. Lilly, who has been feeling adrift since leaving her job at Republic Garden & Lounge, is notably valued and supported by Reese.
In an exclusive sneak peek from tonight’s episode, Reese and Bradley arrive at the outdoor club two hours early to inspect the venue and conduct a sound check before Reese’s performance. Lilly, who is scheduled to join Reese on stage for their single, is mysteriously absent. DJ Estovega warmly welcomes Reese and Bradley as they set up for the upcoming event. Reese expresses her excitement in a confessional, eagerly anticipating the moment when she can step onto the stage and express herself freely.
As Reese plugs in, she happily tells Estovega about her set list. “This is my song with my friend,” says Reese. “Oh, awesome,” replies Estovega. “What’s it called?” “It’s called, ‘Poppin’ It,” says Reese as the two begin to bop their heads with the music. “That’s my friend’s voice,” reiterates Reese.
Reese asks for a microphone and Estovega has one at hand. “It’s already ready, it’s live,” says Estovega. As Reese asks him questions, the cameras cut back to her confessional. “Grace should be at this soundcheck,” says Reese. “This moment is more for her than it is for me.” Frustrated, Reese continues. “I’m the DJ. I’m playing the music, I’m hyping people up… . As for the performance, that’s on Grace.”
Ever the doting boyfriend, Bradley begins to text Lilly to see where she is. “I haven’t heard back from her this morning, and if something goes wrong today, it could jeopardize my reputation,” confides Reese in another confessional. Suddenly, the camera cuts to Lilly’s hotel where Lilly is sleeping peacefully in her bed after a long night out. Will she rally in time for her performance? Tune in tonight to an all-new episode of Southern Hospitality at 9PM ET on Bravo.
