LOS ANGELES — 20th Century Studios has unveiled the first trailer and poster for “Send Help,” an upcoming psychological thriller with a dark comedic twist directed by Sam Raimi. This original film is set to hit theaters across the nation on January 30, 2026.

The trailer introduces viewers to Linda Liddle, played by Rachel McAdams, and Bradley Preston, portrayed by Dylan O’Brien. The two colleagues find themselves in a dire situation after surviving a plane crash, leaving them stranded on a deserted island. As they navigate the harsh realities of their new environment, they face both physical and mental trials that push them to their limits. What starts as a cooperative effort gradually morphs into a darkly humorous and tense power struggle.

“I’ve always been fascinated by stories that place complex characters in extreme situations,” director Sam Raimi commented. “In this film, the shifts in power dynamics lead to an ever-escalating scenario filled with unexpected twists and suspense.”

The cast of “Send Help” features a lineup of talented actors, including Rachel McAdams (“Spotlight,” “Are You There God? It’s Me, Margaret”), Dylan O’Brien (“Twinless,” “Saturday Night”), Edyll Ismail (“La Brea”), Dennis Haysbert (“Far from Heaven”), Xavier Samuel (“Elvis”), Chris Pang (“Crazy Rich Asians”), Thaneth Warakulnukroh (“Thai Cave Rescue”), and Emma Raimi (“Happy Pills”).

Produced by Sam Raimi and Zainab Azizi (“65”), with JJ Hook (“The Amateur”) serving as executive producer, the film’s screenplay is crafted by Damian Shannon and Mark Swift, known for their work on “Friday the 13th” and “Baywatch.” The movie’s original score is composed by Danny Elfman, celebrated for his iconic work on “The Nightmare Before Christmas” and “Batman.”

The Walt Disney Company is the parent company of 20th Century Studios and this ABC station.
