Jrue Holiday has quickly closed the chapter on his Boston-area residence, selling his home in Newton, Massachusetts, for $6.69 million.

The former Boston Celtics star, who recently exited the team, managed to offload his property for just slightly less than the original listing price of $6.89 million, as previously reported by The Post.

Holiday, a seasoned NBA player with 15 years under his belt, saw his stint with the Celtics conclude in July when he was traded back to the Portland Trail Blazers.

George Sarkis of the Sarkis Team at Douglas Elliman represented Holiday in the transaction, though he chose not to comment on the details of the sale. The buyer was represented by Yi Song from Space Realty.

The athlete’s former 8,850-square-foot estate is situated at the end of a private cul-de-sac.

The peaceful perch sits just 30 minutes from downtown Boston.

Holiday purchased the newly built home for $6.5 million in 2024 after a series of trades sent him from Milwaukee to Boston via Portland.

The contemporary residence offers six bedrooms and nine bathrooms. Its interiors are outfitted with soaring ceilings, skylights and custom-built closets throughout.

A quartz-lined chef’s kitchen includes an oversized island, surrounded by Sub-Zero and Wolf appliances. The kitchen space flows into the main floor’s sleek living and entertaining spaces.

A lower level boasts a temperature-controlled wine room, a home theater and a gym with a sauna.

Outdoor amenities include a large patio and al-fresco kitchen.

Holiday enjoyed a brief but wildly successful tenure while in residence. His legendary defensive skills helped the Celtics secure a victory in the 2024 NBA Finals, earning him his second championship ring.

Holiday made his return to the Trail Blazers this summer. A calf injury forced the defensive anchor to the sidelines in November.
