In a significant step towards accommodating voters, Chicago and Cook County have expanded early voting options for the Illinois Primary Election. This initiative allows residents to cast their ballots ahead of the official election day, easing the process for many.
While early voting had already commenced about a month ago in counties like Lake, Will, McHenry, Kane, Kendall, and DuPage, it was initially limited to a handful of locations. However, starting this Monday, the number of accessible voting sites has increased, offering greater convenience to voters.
