Richard Sherman said his house was robbed by a gunman while his wife and kids were inside in a post on Monday on X.

The ex-All-Pro cornerback, whose family is unharmed but emotionally rattled, shared surveillance images of the alleged robbers and sought assistance in recognizing them.

“House being robbed at gun point with my family in it isn’t what anyone wants for a birthday gift,” Sherman wrote. “Scary situation that my Wife handled masterfully and kept my kids safe.”

“If anyone has any info that can help find these people please reach out.”

Sherman and his wife, Ashley Moss, have two children, Rayden and Avery.

The images showed two men, including one who appeared to be holding a gun and a duffle bag, walking through the kitchen and living room of Sherman’s home.

Law enforcement confirmed that an incident occurred at Sherman’s home and that it’s “currently an open and active investigation,” according to TMZ.

The accused robbers have yet to be found as of Monday, Moss said in a note on her Instagram Story.

She explained that she woke up to intruders outside her bedroom.

“People are so sh–ty! Come in my house middle of the night with guns and threaten my family!!!” Moss wrote, according to TMZ.

A surveillance video, which was posted to Moss’ Instagram Story, showed three men entering through a window.

“This is what a coward looks like!” she wrote. “If this is your family, friend, brother, etc.. do the right thing.”

The surveillance video was dated, March 25, 2025.

Moss also thanked those who checked in on their family.

“It is truly appreciated,” she wrote. “The kids and I are physically ok. Very shaken up ad hope to find these people soon. Waking up to intruders outside your bedroom with a gun is something no one should have to experience. Like I said they tried the wrong people! We WILL find you!”

Sherman played 11 NFL seasons and won a Super Bowl with the Seahawks in 2014.

In 2022, he joined Amazon Prime Video’s “Thursday Night Football” coverage, but did not rule out a return to the field.
