Family Seeks Help Finding Missing Man in Southern California

Loved ones are searching for a Southern California man who has been missing for over a week.

Brandon Blackthorne, 30, was reported missing on Dec. 23 after he was last seen leaving his Mission Viejo home, according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Department.

The man, who is considered critically missing, is described as a white male standing 6 feet tall and weighing around 170 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen wearing a red polo shirt and white shorts with blue and red stripes. He drives a metallic grey 2016 Tesla Model X SUV.

Blackstone’s loved ones have not heard from him since his disappearance and are concerned for his well-being.

A “critically missing person” is defined as:

  • A person who has no pattern of running away or disappearing
  • A person in critical need of medical attention
  • The victim of a crime or foul play
  • The victim of a kidnapping or parental abduction
  • A person who is mentally impaired to the extent that such person is unable to care for him or herself or is an immediate danger to his or her own safety or the safety of others
