The Glynn County Police Department said officers responded to calls of multiple shots fired at the apartment complex Friday night.

BRUNSWICK, Ga. — One person is dead and three others injured after a shooting inside a Brunswick apartment Friday night, according to a statement from the Glynn County Police Department (GCPD).

GCPD said their officers responded to calls of multiple shots fired at The Retreat Apartments on Altama Avenue in Brunswick. Officers forced their way into an apartment where they found one man dead from gunshot wounds.

GCPD said two men arrived at nearby hospitals around the same time with gunshot wounds, while a third man was taken to the hospital. 

The investigation into the shooting is still ongoing, and anyone with information is asked to call the police department at (912) 554-3645 or Silent Witness at (912) 264-1333.
