An Alabama resident admitted guilt after attempting to hire a killer for his family, mistakenly soliciting an FBI agent for the crime.
Mohammad Mohammad, 64, faced arrest last September following his meeting with an undercover officer who he thought was a hitman. During this encounter, they discussed the price for assassinating his wife and six grown children, as reported by the United States Attorney’s Office.
Authorities became aware of the plot after an anonymous witness informed the FBI that Mohammad had requested them to ‘handle’ his relatives.
He told the witness that a falling out with his family destroyed him and that he was willing to ‘die for self dignity’ and ‘die for pride,’ according to a criminal complaint.
‘Find me somebody. I’ll pay. All I need is a number,’ Mohammad said.
‘You say you got people where you from, man. Just find me somebody. You don’t have to be a part of it. Just get me a name and they number. And I’ll take it from there’.
During a separate interaction, Mohammad told the individual: ‘Get me that name and number, or I don’t want to see your face again’.
An FBI agent then began communicating with Mohammad, posing as the hitman. The two coordinated a meeting where Mohammad divulged how his family ‘had turned against him,’ according to the criminal complaint.

He also claimed that his wife, who was only referred to as SA, was cheating on him and conspiring to steal his money.
Mohammad then provided the undercover agent with the addresses of his wife and six kids, along with descriptions of their vehicles.
He agreed to pay the agent $20,000 to kill his wife and $5,000 for his children. Mohammad told the FBI agent: ‘You pick and choose who you gunna take out, and get paid,’ according to a transcript included in the complaint.
He then referred to his wife as a ‘big wh**e,’ and instructed the undercover agent to start with her.
When the agent pressed Mohammad for more money, he appeared to get agitated and responded: ‘Start with one. Take your time. Second. Third. Fourth. Five. I don’t give f**k. Just, start with one’.
The agent said he needed $5,000 for killing each child, but agreed to $2,000 for the first murder.
Mohammad responded that he wanted his wife killed first, adding: ‘Your money maximum within 2-weeks. Twenty [thousand]. Not five. Twenty. Because it’s the big head [sic]. The others, it’s okay. They are trash. Cockroaches. You know. But this one, deserve more. I give it to you’.

Mohammad and his wife were undergoing divorce proceedings, and he was previously arrested and charged with domestic violence for assaulting his daughter, although the charges were dismissed.
Three Protection from Abuse Orders (PFA) were issued against Mohammad in 2021 from his daughter, wife, and son for ‘assaulting, threatening, abusing, harassing, following, interfering, or stalking’.
His wife’s PFA stated that he would come after her and use weapons against her and her kids, according to the complaint.
She said that Mohammad would threaten to lock them in the basement and kill them. On one occasion, he said he wanted to shoot their daughter between the eyes.
‘He always threatens me and my children with violence. He has put his hands on my kids and sent them to the emergency room. He has put a gun & knife against my kids heads and throats. He has shot guns at us,’ the PFA paperwork read.
There were also multiple instances of arson cited throughout 2023, where Mohammad was accused of setting fire to vehicles belonging to his wife’s friend, two of his sons, his daughter, and his wife.
Mohammad has pleaded guilty to seven counts of murder for hire. He faces a maximum sentence of 10 years for each count. Daily Mail has reached out to his lawyer for comment.
