LANSING, Mich. — Federal authorities have revealed that individuals charged in a Michigan federal court with planning a Halloween terror attack on U.S. soil had considered Cedar Point in Sandusky as a potential target. The suspects, reportedly acting on behalf of the Islamic State, had amassed a significant cache of firearms, accessories, and over 1,600 rounds of ammunition.
According to court documents, Ayob Nasser, his brother Mohmed Ali, and Majed Mahmoud face charges of conspiring to provide material support and resources to a designated terrorist organization. They are also accused of receiving and transferring firearms and ammunition for terrorism-related purposes.
