Investigators working on the case of missing Nancy Guthrie are reportedly honing in on evidence from two specific dates, indicating that her kidnappers may have been surveilling her Arizona residence weeks prior to her disappearance.

The FBI has requested that neighbors of the 84-year-old in Tucson provide any available home security footage from January 11 and January 24, according to a report by NewNation’s Brian Entin.

During conversations with residents about Guthrie’s disappearance, agents emphasized the significance of these dates. They even monitored the neighbors as they reviewed their video archives for relevant footage, Entin noted.

Nancy Guthrie went missing from her home on February 1. The focus on January 11 and 24 suggests that her abductors may have been present in the area on at least two occasions before the kidnapping occurred.

This development also implies that the FBI is re-evaluating the steps previously taken by the Pima County Sheriff’s Department, which has faced criticism for allegedly mishandling the investigation.
