FBI agents have recently questioned staff at a Mexican restaurant where Nancy Guthrie had filmed a segment for the “Today” show alongside her daughter, Savannah, just months before Nancy’s abduction.

The 84-year-old joined Savannah on a sentimental journey through Tucson, revisiting locations from her childhood, including this particular Mexican restaurant.

According to Brian Entin from NewsNation, federal agents visited the eatery to inquire if employees had noticed any “suspicious” individuals during the Guthries’ filming session.

Besides seeking information on dubious characters, Entin reported that the staff was also asked if anyone had shown unusual interest, attempted to take photos, displayed anger, or lingered in an unsettling manner.

It remains uncertain whether the restaurant employees provided any significant leads to the investigators.

The restaurant was one of several places featured in the October segment that the feds returned to as the hunt for the missing grandmother continued, Entin said.

Entin did not identify the restaurant.

However, El Charro Café previously proudly shared footage of the segment being filmed there.
