In a stroke of luck, a ticket purchased at a Fernandina Beach gas station matched five white balls in Saturday’s Powerball drawing, while another ticket in Interlachen hit the jackpot for $59,000 in the Fantasy 5 game.

FERNANDINA BEACH, Fla. — Someone in Fernandina Beach might just be celebrating a $1 million windfall.

The winning numbers from Saturday night’s Powerball draw were 13, 14, 26, 28, and 44, with the Powerball number being 7.

The Florida Lottery confirmed that a ticket matching all five white balls was sold at the Circle K gas station located at 2809 Atlantic Avenue in Fernandina Beach, earning the lucky owner a $1 million prize.

Similar $1 million-winning tickets were sold in Georgia and Texas. Meanwhile, in New Jersey, a ticket that matched all five white balls and included the Power Play option fetched a $2 million prize.

With no one coming away with the jackpot, the prize pool is now $875 million with a cash value of $403.6 million.

The next drawing will be held on Monday, Dec. 8, at 10:59 p.m.

It was a lucky day for Northeast Florida, with a Fantasy 5 ticket sold in Interlachen also hitting.

The Florida Lottery reported that the Lakeview Food Mart on State Road 20 sold a ticket worth more than $59,000 after Fantasy 5’s Saturday Midday Draw. The winning numbers were 15-24-27-29-30.
